All Local Applicants, looking for Live-In or Live-Our work, are personally interviewed either in person by phone or video chat. We will email you out fillable application form for completion and ask that you return it to us with copies of the items noted below. These can be forwarded by email , or brought with you to your personal interview. Please call the office in advance to confirm a date and time for personal interview if possible,:
1) Copies of any work related references you have, and the name, full mailing address, phone contact and/or e-mail address of current and previous employers.
2) A photo (head shot) of yourself for your application if possible.
3) Any pertinent documents/certificates you have – i.e. valid First Aid & CPR Certification / ECE Diploma / PSW Certification / Driver’s Licence etc.
4) Your current Work Permit or legal status in Canada if you are a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Agency Policy requires that we contact current/previous employers directly in order to obtain Reference Check Reports. These reports are very important and must be on file before an application is complete and able to be shown to prospective employer clients. If we have difficulty obtaining your screening reports, we will contact you to discuss the situation.
We will discuss any questions you have at your interview.
CAREGIVERS currently on the old CAREGIVER WORK VISA program
. . . and looking for a new Employer to complete any remaining time needed to fulfill the 24 months employment requirement, will now apply for an Open Work Permit & PR Status under the new Home Child Care Provider (HCCP) OR Home Support Worker (HSW) pilot programs. You may work on a Live-In or a Live-Out basis

Valid IELTS Certification and an Educational Certification Assessment (ECA) to verify that your level of formal education equates to successful completion of 1st year university / college in Canada, are both required for Permanent Resident application. There are 5 organizations listed on the government website to apply for your Educational Certification Assessment (ECA.) You can use which ever one you want. The process usually takes about 3 months so be sure to start as soon as possible.
