LIVE-IN & LIVE-OUT  

Full TimeCaregivers on the federal Home Child Care Provider (HCCP) and  Home Support Worker (HSW)  Work Permit programs –  Nannies/Babysitters/ Nanny Housekeepers  &   Care of Seniors & Persons with high Medical Needs. (Companion /Elder & Special Needs care).  The majority of foreign workers on the HCCP & HSW pilot programs are looking to be employed on a LIVE-IN basis .

Full Time & Permanent Part Time: Nannies, Babysitters, Nanny/Housekeepers/Companion Caregivers/PSW’s etc. These caregivers are Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents and people on an Open Work Permit.  The majority of these candidates are usually looking for LIVE-OUT positions, but occasionally accept LIVE-IN positions -usually on a short term or temporary basis. 

Au Pair & Cultural Exchange Applicants: Young adults (18 – 30 yrs.) from various foreign countries in Canada on a Working Holiday or Youth Mobility Open Work Permit, can work full or part time – usually 25 to 40 hours / week). Most of these applicants are looking for Live-In positions.

THE PROCESS :

1) Complete our on-line Questionnaire appropriate for the type of care you are looking for. (CHILDCARE, ELDERCARE or HOUSEKEEPING) Information on possible candidates we have on file who may be suitable matches will be forwarded to you once we have had a chance to assess your completed Questionnaire. Full File Summaries on suitable candidates will be forwarded once we receive the Initial Search/Registration Fee.

2) Pay the Initial Search/Registration Fee (ISF) of $100.00 + HST :  IF you are looking for care FOR MORE THAN 20 HOURS / WEEK, this fee is payable prior to Full File Summaries being forwarded for your consideration. For part time placements of 20 hours / week or less, the Initial Search Fee is not payable until either a formal Job Offer is offered and accepted, or prior to a 4th candidate file being forwarded for consideration, whichever comes first. Personal interviews will be arranged with local candidates you wish to meet, or contact information (phone/video chat info/e-mail address) for any applicants you are interested in contacting will be forwarded to you.

AGENCY FEES for Assessment, Screening & Placement are payable by cheque, e-transfer, cash or credit card. *NOTE: There is a 3% charge on all credit card payments. Receipts for all fees paid in the previous calendar year are issued in early January of the following year.

Deposit payments are NON-REFUNDABLE except if a caregiver is physically unable to, or unwilling to commence employment in any capacity, and the offer is withdrawn. In this case, 50 % of the Agency Deposit Fee paid to date will be refunded to the Employer. There is NO REFUND of Deposit payments if an Employer changes their mind and cancels the job offer prior to commencement of employment in any capacity, OR if Agency Fees have not been paid on time as stipulated. However, any Balance Payment received will be fully refunded to the Employer.

If Employment is  terminated by the Employer or the Employee prior to commencement of the 4th month of employment in any capacity,  50% of the total Balance Fee paid will be refunded to the Employer, provided that all Employment Standards, as well as the Offer made and agreed upon, have been respected and followed.
